An ion-deposition printer is an extremely rapid type of electrophotographic printer. The printer drum is charged not by a light source, as with ~laser~, ~LCD~, and ~LED printers~, but with a stream of ~ions~. This provides faster printing as the toner used does not require ~heat curing~.
